Kishorn Port and Dry Dock is the former construction site of the Ninian Central Platform, the site has 45 Hectares of land available (including the dry dock) for immediate construction and development with a further 19 Hectares available.

Scottish Conservative PPC for Ross, Skye and Lochaber Visits Kishorn Port Ltd

KPL in February 2015 welcomed Lindsay McCallum, Scottish Conservative PPC for Ross, Skye and Lochaber and Reg Holder, Chairman of the Conservative Highland Policy Forum. Miss McCallum and Mr Holder took a tour of the site at Kishorn; its Dry Dock, pier facilities, Leiths on site quarry with concrete batching facilities and aggregates, as well as the stevedoring, transport and warehouse facilities available by Ferguson Transport & Shipping.

Miss McCallum and Mr Holder met with Director Alasdair Ferguson, who explained the history and the major industrial work that made Kishorn Port renowned in the subsea world and KPL’s vision for the future. For example, its full planning permission in favour of the renewables industry as well as oil and gas related activities and decommissioning.

David Campbell (CFO) of Albatern also accompanied Alasdair Ferguson in leading the tour, to demonstrate current examples of world leading technology which Albatern are testing at KPL.
